Membership Information

ANNUAL GSCA MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE $25.00 for a Family membership. Granite State Carriage Association welcomes horse carriage drivers, horseback riders, and horse lovers of all ages. Our Annual dues (Jan.-Dec.) cover participating in all the outings and activities we offer; the Club does NOT charge extra fees for its activities. New joins after September 30th are considered paid through the following year. 

JOIN OR RENEW via PayPal at right using credit card, or send check to Treasurer below. Please ALSO complete GSCA Membership application below and email or snail mail it, so we can include you in our Newsletter E-mailings (or snail mail.)

You MUST be a current GSCA member to drive, ride, or handle/harness/tack a horse (per insurance requirements.)

A Family membership is the only type we offer, and one Family membership includes two Adults living in the same household plus children under 18 living with them. The Club is a fully volunteer organization operating as a NH non-profit for recreational purposes, to “promote the sport and safety of carriage driving.” We welcome your membership and ongoing support (sorry not tax-deductible.)

MAINE DRIVING CLUB ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP CAN BE ADDED FOR only $1 more!

GSCA is partnered with Maine Driving Club to share both clubs' outings and events!

PLEASE PROVIDE MDC ASSOCIATE Member Form and add your "MDC Associate" member fee of $1. If NOT a current GSCA Member, please also send GSCA Membership/Renewal Application.pdf to Treasurer and PayPal payment ($26 total) or via check made to GSCA. GSCA Membership benefits:

  • Recreational fun with horses at unique venues, for carriage drivers & horseback riders (all types of equines welcome-- minis, drafts, mules etc.)
  • Driving members can bring guests to ride in carriage (guests must sign liability form)
  • Receive GSCA Newsletter/ eNews
  • Enjoy GSCA socials/BBQs/swap meets/dinner functions/auctions
  • Meet fellow members from all over New England
  • Option to also join Maine Driving Club for $1 more (see above)
  • Scholarship reimbursement ($25) for EDUCATIONAL activities (usually horse-less) such as talks and classes about driving safety and equipment, general horse safety, getting started driving, trailering tips etc. Not to include paid driving or riding lessons. Send email query to:

Dear New Member,

Welcome and thank you for joining the Granite State Carriage Association. Our membership is composed of people with all levels of driving/riding experience, ranging from those just learning, to folks who have been driving, riding, and competing for many years. Most importantly, we are a friendly and fun group who love to drive in safety and welcome new members!

Please peruse the website to see our great variety of outings and activities during the year. I hope that you will get to many drive/rides and also make plans to attend our Annual Dinner Meeting and our Planning Meeting as well.
